I can't even get the program to start. This is the error message I get.

MBAM_ERROR_LOAD_DATABASE (0,0)

Also, I can't even find the email that gave me my registration and all that. Otherwise I would just reinstall.

Any recommendations.

Hi -

Just for now , can you open the program face and see if there is a Key and ID listed when you click on Registration -

Try a reinstall as listed below and we will try to get the numbers then -

Also can you list your Antivirus and Firewall (if installed) -

To Fully Remove and Reinstall a Fresh New Copy of Malwarebytes - Read Carefully

Windows XP:

• Click on Start and select Control Panel
  
• Open Add/Remove Programs
  
• Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  
• Restart your computer very important !
  
• Download and run mbam-clean.exe from Here
  

It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so, very important

After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

• Click on the Start button and select Control Panel
  
• Click on Programs and Features
  
• Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  
• Restart your computer very important !
  
• Download and run mbam-clean.exe from Here
  

It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so, very important

After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Paid version only

Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.

Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now reset any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications.

You may also need to clean up some older downloaded files , please carefully read and follow this item -

Download and install CCleaner slim , (scroll down to CCleaner slim version) -

• CCleaner slim
  right-click on the downloaded file "ccsetup234_slim.exe" and choose "Run as administrator" and install the application.
  
• Keep the default installation folder "C:\Program Files\CCleaner"
  
• Click finish when done and close ALL PROGRAMS including your Web Browser
  
• Start the CCleaner program.
  
• Click on Registry and Uncheck Registry Integrity so that it does not run (basically the very top, uncheck it)
  
• Click back to Cleaner and under SYSTEM uncheck the Memory Dumps and Windows Log Files
  
• Click on Run Cleaner button on the bottom right side of the program.
  
• Click OK to any prompts
  Note, this will remove cookies as well so if you do want to keep them then uncheck them before running it.
