Browser issues, MalwareBytes auto-closing

Hi guys, I ran through all the steps on the "Im Infected topic, hope I lay it out correctly.

I've pasted the contents of DDS.txt and attached the Ark, Log and Attach files, can you please help me get rid of whatever is screwing with my PC?

As some additional background info: I recently "upgraded" to AVG Free 2011 and it did not work, now AVG is saying "There are no active components"

Spybot has found 4 or 5 items but "fixed" them.

When I tried to go and download a free Norton trial I was redirected to various software pay-to-use sites, also when i went to Norton.com directly the page would not display properly, displayed in basic white background and hyperlink format, and links to download would not work, or virus corrupoted them, can you please help?

1. If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:
   
   • Open Tools -> Options -> Main tab

Open Notepad and copy and paste the text in the code box below into it:

Hi Maniac, thanks for following this up.

Some notes so far:

I havent been able to disable AVG to this point, ive manually ended the processes with "AVG" in them from task manager and the icon has disappeared from the toolbar, but Combofix still recognises it and warns me about possible problems. AVG itself wont give me an option to close it, how do i take it off the auto-run list on start up?

Aside from AVG MalwareBytes is still automatically closing itself around 5 seconds after i open it (i havent attempted any scans)

Hit F8 before windows started loading, just gave me which drive to boot from options, nothing about safe mode.

Got into safe mode with networking, drag/dropped the script file into combofix, heres the log, thanks.

OK, ran it again with new script txt.

It behaved the same way, it warned me about AVG being open (but i cant get rid of it or disable it) then starts running the scan, detects rootkit activity, reboots my PC and runs again, some error messages come up while its going through the early stages (2 through 4) I dont send the error messages. Then it finishes and I have to reboot my PC again to get back online.

Still no change. Let's check something:

Please download Rootkit Unhooker and save it to your desktop.

• Double-click RKUnhookerLE.exe to run it.
  
• Click the Report tab, then click Scan
  
• Check Drivers, Stealth Code, Files, and Code Hooks
  
• Uncheck the rest, then click OK
  
• When prompted to Select Disks for Scan, make sure C:\ is checked and click OK
  
• Wait till the scanner has finished then go File > Save Report
  
• Save the report somewhere you can find it, typically your desktop. Click Close
  
• Copy the entire contents of the report and paste it in your next reply.
  

Note - You may get this warning it is ok, just ignore it."Rootkit Unhooker has detected a parasite inside itself!

It is recommended to remove parasite, okay?"

AVG managed to fix itself it appears and is now reporting approx 20 "Trojan" named files which cannot be removed by AVG, ("Do not exist or inaccessible") I was however able to run Root Unhooker and below is the report as requested....

Delete your copy of ComboFix, download a new one and run it. Please post the resaults in your next reply.

Deleted ComboFix and redownloaded, renaming it Combo-Fix before starting D/L. Ran the program, upon restart alot of my start up programs that usually run experienced errors, had to restart again to get back online, heres the log for you

MalwareBytes doesnt auto-close anymore, AVG is saying I'm not protected and it cant fix the problem. Should I run some scans?

Also, I ran another scan straigt after my previous post and it found two more Trojans which I deleted, a third scan came up clean from AVG, but still the rootkit issue.,
