Cannot install other programs anymore

I think ever since I've downloaded malwarebytes it blocked the rest of any installation of new programs I want to download. Also I cannot update my existing programs. Can anyone help me?

4. I dont know what you mean by definition, but i'm pretty sure its 4801

What version of AVG do you have? There is a known issue with AVG2011 that is being worked on. Please take your time and reply all listed items by Firefox in Post #2

Yes he was asking about Database version, you are current on it. The DSL connection comes through modem, do you have any other device attached to modem?

I have my Wireless-G Broadband Router attached to the modem.

Please try this first -

To Fully Remove and Reinstall a Fresh New Copy of Malwarebytes - Read Carefully

Windows Vista and Windows 7:

• Click on the Start button and select Control Panel
  
• Click on Programs and Features
  
• Uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  
• Restart your computer very important !
  
• Download and run mbam-clean.exe from Here
  

It will then ask to restart your computer again , please allow it to do so, very important

After the computer restarts, temporarily disable your Anti-Virus and install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Paid version only

Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates.

Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now reset any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications.
