Greetings,

I am educating myself on this forums process and appreciate it's helpful guidance and process. I have followed the initial guidance on the website for "What to do when I get infected." First I have run Malaware and Sophos and even though they took off some 42 viruses, I am still have redirection problems. I have disabled CD-ROM emulation software and downloaded DeFogger and DDS software. Here are the results of the DDS.txt:

I then downloaded GMER Rootkit Scanner. I have attached both of the DDS attachment and the ark.txt in zipped files.

I have left my DeFogger un-enabled. Please advise if I have omitted any of the other initial steps for assistance.

I believe I contracted a virus of some sort while attempting to view a video from YouTube. I found out the McAfee I was running was 4 months old. Regardless, I was able to get a lot of the virus off but still appear to have some remnants of the program as I am periodically getting redirected on Google searches. I apologize for my initial faux pas with regards to adhereing to the forum protocols. I would reallly appreciate it if you are able to assist me in determining what the problem might be and have enjoyed learning about the process. I was also curious if there were any free registry fixing tools out there? Thank you very much for any assistance you can provide:

Good morning Maniac. I replied to a post from Kahdah this morning regarding this issue. Thank you very much for your offered assistance. I will continue to work through Kahdah unless you direct me to roply to both of you. Thanks again!
