Hi, I have been using MB free version for about 6 months and regularly run scans. This morning I uninstalled a program called rapport , which is a security feature with my online bank, because it was continually running in the background and using as much as 60% of my cpu. After uninstalling I ran a scan with MB and it found 3 infections, but then froze at the following path .. C:\SetAutoFailover.cmd - I have tried 3 times now to complete the scan with the same result. Also I tried a system restore twice and each time it did not complete, saying that an unknown problem occurred and that my settings remained unaltered.

I have spent an hour trawling the forums but havent found anyone with similar problems. Help!!

I am using Windows vista home and I have AVG free installed.

Any ideas what the solution could be?
