Malwarebytes not finding anything even though I know something is there

I know I have some virus but malwarebytes isn't finding it whether i run it in safe mode or normal mode. I even uninstalled from my computer and redownloaded the setup on another computer and put it on my thumbdrive and I installed it on my computer in safe mode and scanned again in both safe mode and normal. Didn't find anything. One weird thing is that usually these scans take a long time on my computer but each of these scans took only about 3 hours but t says it scanned it successfully. I know I have a virus because of two things that keep happening and still are

1. I keep getting redirected when I click on links and every now and then a tab opens on its own and goes to some site.

I use firefox but I have IE to.

2. just-in-time debugger keeps popping up

Malwarbytes has always helped me before and I am grateful for this program but it doesn't seem to helping this time and I hope someone can help and tell me why?
