Hey there. Win7 64bit w/EN and JP locales loaded(man how'd I forget this one).

No security programs running, only standard MS Firewall.

Current Definition loaded were loaded(4786) -- I will note that the old definitions that I used before hand(Late-Sept) didn't cause this issue.

Appears to scan properly with the advanced heuristics disabled.

@noknojon

Nope. Just a standard scan. This machine runs in stand-alone mode through a tunneling VPN.

If you need anything else lemmie know, hopefully I'm the only one who's gotten this and I can live with it being isolated. But a funky bug is still funky. :o

Attached log just incase you'd like it.

Hello Mashiki:

Glad to know this has worked, at the moment there is a known issue with Japanese language that is being worked, please keep Uncheck Enable advanced heuristics engine (Heuristics Shuriken) and you'll be all set

On a side note "MBAM by no means is a substitute of an AV" you should install an AV of your choice, however, you have to add following exclusions in AV for MBAM to make them work in real-time without any conflict

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\zlib.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.dll
  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamext.dll
  • C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref
  • C:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sys
  • C:\Windows\SysWoW64\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys

Should you have any other question(s) please post back using MXyBj.png button
