I should get off my butt and promote them. The commercial ones have some bells and whistles but do not work well in a recliner and if one uses their laptop on a desk they do not need them.

I need one with a mouse pad on the right. I never could get used to doing any real work with the built-in pad. A little side porch of wood to hold my real mouse

I also cannot use the laptop mouse pad. The arm of my recliner is my mousepad

I cut one down for my wife as she places hers on a raised table in front of her chair, cut the side boards at a 30 deg angle so it slopes. Side board could be made but the rig would not fit my chair anymore (aptly named a "Lazyboy" )

The shiny dome in this pic is for extra light in the room.......
