I just got back from Radioshack with my new 1TB iomega Prestige Desktop Hard Drive. Even better each box entitles you to 1 year free Trend Micro Internet Security, Mozy Online Backup 2GB(already free)and Iomega QuikProtect. Plus a 3 year warranty if you register it online.;)

All I have to do is keep the dog away from it. Knocked the other to the floor. :welcome:

Edit: Also includes EMC Retrospect Express. ;) ;) :D :D Just found vClone and McAfee Virus Scan(bleh  ).

Hi Buttons!

Nice photo of your new hard drive, Just one little problem friend. It takes a long time to load it. You need a program like FastStone Photo Resizer to cut down pixels. That way you can re-due your photo and make it easier for us to down load. Don't need all all those pixels. I use it to send pictures through emails, and post pictures on forums. Just Google. I's a freeware. I'll send a picture of my yard last winter as example.post-43884-1286079240_thumb.jpg

Its true a good statement, but I would delete the last 2 words.. for future years ------ without problems

Ah, heh. I did a backup, but it couldn't find it as I put it in a sub folder/renamed it. Mostly because every backup is named the same and creates confusion. That and both computers shared the same drive.

Yeah, I don't usually cut them down. I can, but not normally. Probably should.:welcome:

Hi friend! Notice the difference in the size. Yours is 3968x2976. Mine is 640x480. This makes it easier and faster to down load. Mine was taken with digital camera also, but I cut it down. Just suggesting a way to post pictures on the forum that load easier.

Garybear!! PS my picture was 3648x2736.

if you don't mind my asking, what did you do with the 1 he knocked over? return it? or is it a doorstop.

Ran a disk check which supposedly fixed the bad sectors. Having some issues creating a backup on my desktop. Not sure if it fixed it.:welcome: After I finish formatting the new one I'll check that out on my laptop.
