KiwiSue Posted September 27, 2010 ID:319088 Share Posted September 27, 2010 Hi,I have a concern for new people using virus programs who do not question results.Have had Malwarebytes for a few days. Did a run where it found a file called 'logonui.exe'. Did a search online. Found that if the file is in the Windows System 32 folder it is safe. If not, to delete it. Mine was in the System 32 folder.Had come across a comment online from someone who deleted something that came up and ended up needing to rebuild their system.Have attached the file.mbam_log_2010_09_25__01_14_51_.txt
nosirrah Posted September 27, 2010 ID:319116 Share Posted September 27, 2010 Please zip and attach a copy of the file, it appears to have been modified and is not the file that should be there.

KiwiSue Posted October 13, 2010 Author ID:326896 Share Posted October 13, 2010 Hi nosirrahSorry for the delay in replying. Have just started checking my mail yesterday.I'm afraid I have done a big clean up of what is on my system (25 Gb harddrive). So do not have the file to resend.I think the Malwarebytes application is great. If I am downloading anything now I save it first and run Malwarebytes across it.When my desktop was up and running (harddrive issues) the version I had of AVG loaded on to it would check any device I plugged in or anything I downloaded. Is there an option to do this with Malwarebytes?Again, apologies.CheersSue
