Antivirus8 Not Removed with Quick Scan

My DH got the lovely Antivirus8 rogue on his laptop, I finally got my malware bytes to update and ran the quick scan - it looked like it had tagged several files (20 were set to delete) but when I restarted, Antivirus8 is still there causing issues with the laptop. I am currently running a full scan - but wondered if there was a fix for Antivirus8 yet or not or if I need to upgrade to the paid version for the flash scan. (I have paid version on a desktop, but not his laptop). Thanks!

Sorry to hear that your system is infected, at times MBAM alone will not be able to completely eradicate these nastiest leaving behind remnants that require special tools and experts knowledge

Flash Scan is only available in Paid version
