To much CPU for internal processes

Hope you can help me here.

I have just installed the purchased version of Malwarebytes and after turning on the resident shield I am seeing a huge decrease in the speed of every system I have it running on. It seems to be using upwards of 25% to 45% of my CPU every time I click on anything or any program within our internal software programs. This causes an increase of between 100% to 400% time factor just to open a window within our accounting package.

Is there a way to set the Malwarebytes software to only run in real time when accessing the Web? This would solve every problem.

Before you ask, I verified that Malwarebytes is the culprit for the speed decrease when running our internal programs. If I shut off Malwarebytes, the programs and menu selections within our software run at a much faster rate.

In the meantime, what Anti-virus software are you using? Have you entered exceptions in your AV to exclude Malwarebytes files as listed below?

Please exclude the following files from your antivirus:

Note: If using a software firewall besides the built in Windows Firewall you'll need to exclude them from it as well

Thanks for the response! I have done everything above with no change to the slowdown that MBytes is causing. I can disable my AV software entirely and still the slowdown exists. If I shut off the MBytes program the speed immediately goes back to being fast (even with my AV running). If there was a way to exclude our internal programs and servers from being scanned by MBytes every time we try to do something then that should take care of the problem.

I will log a request with the corporate support staff as suggested previouswly.
