Malwarebytes is using 30% of CPU

I bought this software in May. Has been not problem. But recently I noticed computer is slowing down, then I found out that Malwarebytes is using up 30% of CPU, which is new to me.

I installed IE9 beta recently, don't know if it has anything to do with this "slow" problem.

What is the normal usage of the CPU?

And any idea to fix the problem if it IS a problem?

What is your operating system and RAM?

No problem on my Windows 7 system as it idles at 8%

I have Norton 360 running on my computer. My operating system is Windows Vista

Thanks FireFox. I tried that. But didn't change anything. Malwarebytes sill slows things down. Without Malwarebytes running, everything is normal.
