Why do I only have a cursor while using Fast Reply. I have no cursor when I'm using New Topic,Reply, and AddReply. Also, I can only correct my message when I'm using FastReply. I can now edit and correct my message after submitting my message but that is kind of a pain. Is there a reason for this?? This is very strange to me. I will submit my message and then correct it by editing. I couldn't do that until I reached 50 posts, so that is a big help, but still a little bit of a pain and strange to me. The first time I tried to create a new topic, I thought maybe that wasn't allowed, because I had no cursor. Since I have not seen this question asked; I guess I'm the only one to think it strange.Thank you!

PS Its just a minor thing, and I have learned to deal with it!

Hi! This is all I could find about this on the net. I don't understand it. I just know every thing is now working the way I want it to. When I type a word , there is a vertical line that flashes and moves with each letter I type. I can move that line with my mouse any where in my message and correct or add to my message. If I misspell a word , it is underlined and I can right click and correct that word. This is what I'm used to, and I'm glad the problem is fixed or works the way I want it to.

Hello YoKenny! I really don't see what firefox has to do with this?? What does Firefox have to do with my cursor? Please explain. I'm a member of several forums and this was the only one not responding like I wanted it to. It works just fine after clicking on the top right double curved arrows (Switch between standard and rich text editor).

Hi friend! I have no idea what this does either. I just know when I click on the two curved arrows, I can type and correct my message, and submit it. I have a blinking cursor and all is cool. I don't know if this is just affects me or everyone. All I can say is click on it and see what happens. Maybe someone on the forum can answer your question.

I see no difference between clicking on on the two curved arrows other than the box around the typing area gets darker.

Looks like you are using Full screen mode.

I have not used Full screen mode since leaving DOS years ago and started to use Windows.

Press F11 to toggle between Full screen mode and Windows.

Hello! Thanks for all the posts. I now have the same settings as sho-don and Firefox Every thing works just fine. I don't know how mine got changed to rich text, but that was my problem. When I click on the double arrows, it changes to rich text and that is not what I want. Every thing is cool now. Thanks everyone. I think if you click on the double arrows, you will see what I mean. It changes mine from standard to rich text; not what I want.
