Schedule a scan with Malwarebytes Free + Windows 7

Recommended Posts

Hi -

You should read Section B of the FAQ area to see if that option exists in Win 7 -

There have been several changes to the program , so I am not sure if it can be done -

Thank You -

This item showed how to set Scheduled tasks in XP , but I have not found (nor looked for) it on my Win7 yet -

I cheched my Win 7 unit and you can schedule tasks , as in XP , by Start > Accessories > System tools > Scheduled Tasks, Follow the instructions there -

Still not 100% sure if this will work very well , but it is worth a try --

Edited to add the final section , after I rechecked the schedules in Win 7 -

Yes, I've used the above method and it works in XP but as I've stated I'm unable to make it work in by using the Windows 7 task scheduler.
