Helpdesk - Planned Outage - September 18th

Our helpdesk will be down starting at about 10:00PM (Pacific Time) on September 18th, and it may be down until 12:00AM on the 19th (so about 2 hours). This short outage is so that our helpdesk provider can move things over to a new server cluster.

Please note that any e-mails coming in to the helpdesk during this time should be held in a queue until the server move is complete, and then they should be processed normally once everything is back online.

Our apologies for the last-minute announcement on this. You can thank Tom for reminding me that we needed to post this. :unsure:

Further to add:

What about incoming new tickets and replies?

During this time new emails will not be immediately processed, however email that was sent to your help desk during the outage will be processed as soon as the outage concludes.

What will my customers see when Zendesk is down?

Your customers will see our standard maintenance page, which will also point them to our ZendeskOps Twitter account so they can see when your helpdesk comes back up.
