Now I have antispy safeguard and my computer is locked

But now I have a new, worse problem - antispy safeguard has completely blocked my computer. I have pulled the plug and am wondering is this something I can fix with your help or is it time to give up and take it in to the shop?

The reason you didn't get a response right away is that we look for posts with 0 replies.

A post that has several replies looks to us that someone is helping that person, so we pass it by.

As for your computer problem:

If the computer is so badly infected with malware that you can't use it, I would try to scan it with a rescue disk. Windows doesn't even have to boot to use it.

If you would like to give it a try, about halfway down in this guide, you'll find info on making an AVG Rescue CD.

You can give that a try, there's also other options in that guide that may work.
