I don't think this is a False Positive. Ebayshortcuts is indeed foistware by AD ON Multimedia Advertising GmbH, and it is bundled with a variety of freeware applications such as Unlocker, MyPhoneExplorer, Exact Audio Copy and so on.

Usually there's a check box during setup allowing you to opt out of the Ebay Shortcuts install

the strange thing is I have never jacked with E-bay at all.

I have used unlocker in the past few months,so it sounds like

you nailed it on the head.
