freehomeseller Posted September 14, 2010 ID:313601 Share Posted September 14, 2010 In looking at the post by GT500 on how to configure the scheduler, I noticed there was no explanation made of the "Recover if Missed by:" option. Can anyone explain how this option works?

exile360 Posted September 15, 2010 ID:313839 Share Posted September 15, 2010 Greetings The Recover if missed by option will tell the scheduled item that if the computer was unavailable to perform the scheduled task when it was originally set to run, the scheduled task will execute as soon as the computer is available again as long as it is within the selected amount of time.So if, for example, I set a scan to run at 7:00AM and set the Recover if missed by option to 6 Hours and my PC is not turned on at 7:00AM, the scan will immediately execute as soon as my PC boots again as long as it is any time between 7:00AM that same day and 1:00PM. exile360 Posted September 20, 2010 ID:316170 Share Posted September 20, 2010 There is a known issue that we're investigating where Recover if missed by does not work in Windows XP, however, all of the other scheduling options should work.
