virus's and malware destroying my pc

A few months ago a rogue antimalware/spyware installed itself on my computer, and malwarebytes has been a great help. Every so often since then, another one would show up, and malwarebytes was always able to deal with it. Lately it's been happening weekly if not more frequently.

Today, I ran several rounds of Malwarebytes, this time an astounding 203 infections found, then i removed them.

Upon restart, it appeared I still had one called antimalware doctor, so I performed yet another scan, this time revealing 60 infections. I removed and restarted. Now I can't even update malwarebytes, as my computer instantly reboots itself when I try. Still can't use the internet. I tried downloading spyware doctor to a USB key on my laptop, then uploading it on my PC (a few websites I viewed advised this course of action), and I can't even run it without an update, which my internet won't allow....

However, antimalware doctor has ceased appearing...?

Additionally, upon boot up I get a 'The system has recovered from a serious error' message, and when viewing the reports, the following files are included in the error report:

C:\DOCUME~1\HP_ADM~1\Temp\WERc2a4.dir00\Mini091310-01.dmp

C:\DOCUME~1\HP_ADM~1\Temp\WERc2a4.dir00\sysdata.xml

I'm not super virus savvy, but I would assume I have some virus on my computer that likes to either install these rogue programs, or is holding the door wide open for the virus's/rogue programs to waltz right in.

PLEASE HELP!!!! This thing is kicking the crap out of my PC!!!! :)

Hi,

You can transfer ComboFix from another PC with an USB flash drive.

Download ComboFix from one of these locations:

Link 1

Link 2

* IMPORTANT !!! Save ComboFix.exe to your Desktop

  • Disable your AntiVirus and AntiSpyware applications, usually via a right click on the System Tray icon. They may otherwise interfere with our tools. Here is a guide on how to disable them:
    Click me
If you can't disable them then just continue on.
  • Double click on ComboFix.exe & follow the prompts.
  • As part of it's process, ComboFix will check to see if the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed. With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal. It will allow you to boot up into a special recovery/repair mode that will allow us to more easily help you should your computer have a problem after an attempted removal of malware.
  • Follow the prompts to allow ComboFix to download and install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console, and when prompted, agree to the End-User License Agreement to install the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console.

**Please note: If the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is already installed, ComboFix will continue it's malware removal procedures.

Once the Microsoft Windows Recovery Console is installed using ComboFix, you should see the following message:

Click on Yes, to continue scanning for malware.

When finished, it shall produce a log for you. Please include the C:\ComboFix.txt log in your next reply.

Thank you thank yout thank you!!!

Ok ummm, not sure if this is relevant, but after I initially ran combofix, about 10 seconds in, it said error, my computer made weird beeps that I've never heard before, then it shut down.

Once it booted up and entered windows, it was automatically running. After about 10 minutes, I got some kind of message about rootkit, and it restarted again.

Upon reboot, it was automatically running again. Once more, it did another automatic shutdown, automatic run upon reboot, THEN the log was created.

Here it is....

Thanks SOOO much in advance

Hi,

I'm afraid I have bad news for you. :)

You are infected with a file infector. This infection can and will infect all the machine's executable files .exe, .scr, .rar, .zip, .htm, .html. Because there are a number of bugs in its code, it may create executable files that are corrupted beyond repair resulting in an inoperative machine.

Malware experts say that a Complete Reformat and Reinstall is the only way to clean the infection. This includes All Drives that contain .exe, .scr, .rar, .zip, .htm, .html files.

  • Backup all your documents and important items only.
  • DO NOT backup any executable files (,exe .scr .html or .htm)
  • Do Not back up compressed files (zip/cab/rar) files that may contain .exe, .pdf, .jpg, .doc or .scr files
  • Reformat and Reinstall as outlined HERE
