MAB freezes on a specific file

Hi. Every time I try to run a scan, the program freezes up on this file:

C:\Windows\system32\vdmredir.dll

Every time, I get a windows message saying the program has stopped working. Any assistance would be wonderful.

Please update MBAM (current 4586) do one more attempt of Quick Scan with Heuristics Shuriken Disabled it isn't going to hurt in anyway

1. Click on Settings
   
2. Click on Scanner Setting
   
3. Uncheck Enable advanced heuristics engine (Heuristics Shuriken)
   

Give it a shot and let us know please! Don't forget to include the information noknojon has asked in Post #2, and the default system locale
