I Think that Malware people must think of a new interface < Future reasons|the 1990's has past

I also think that instead of using Vb6.0 they should use C++ or Vb2008 or Anything else that's fast

What i see on the net is that more people are going for Security 360 - Because the detections are almost the same and they have more a Futuristic Design

So Malware 1.50 or above should be rewritten.

Don't worry I am a very Good Friend Of Malware - Your Anti Malware has saved me from the freakiest you have ever known!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kinda Programming language will you be using for 1.50 and above :

- Because Malware 1.46 and under have been very slow with the UserInterface

Problems :

- While Malware 1.46 and under are scanning or updating its very slow

- also if you trie to update and there is a new version there would be a update failed - Msgbox

They use VB Accelerator source code which is precompiled code. In addition to being developed under Visual Basic .Net.

I doubt Malwarebytes was written in Visual Basic it would most likely be written in VB.Net which is much newer. As a mater of fact a few security programs have pieces written in VB.net

Also most security programs are not written in full assembly as far as I am aware the only product close to be written in full assembly is Nod32

Slow updates is because MBAM downloads the whole database in each update.

Also there is nothing wrong with using Visual Basic .NET to code a security application in.

Prob ably written for the .Net Framework 2.0 .I think Ad-ware is written in the .net language as it needs the C++ Redistributable package.

Nope. Several of us on working on a project in VB.NET, but I do not know on how much I can give at this point. May have said too much already.

Yeah Visual Basic (last version was 6.0 if I remember correctly) was the original Visual Basic however it was replaced to fit into the .NET frame work. As of now Microsoft VB.NET actually is kinda like C++ because Microsoft has a few C++ to VB.NET code bits that allow inter-connection between the two.

Ad-Aware uses the .NET framwork (C++/VB.NET) along with Panda and Avira as far as I am aware.

Assembly is machine code which means it works lighter due to the fact the machine can understand it instantly without the need to *translate* the code into machine code (Sorry I am no coder yet I may download the VB.NET sdk tomorrow )
