Malware doesn't remove, neither does AVG

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I am hoping somebody can help me. I have had a debilitating virus on my other computer for days, I cannot access any files or start any programs.

I cannot access any programs at the root, using task manager - using ctrl, alt, del and then using task manager to open malwarebytes - This was used successfully before..... but not this time

I put malwarebytes on a flash card and transferred it to infected computer, I renamed the malware.exe in the directory to iexplore.exe, then the desktop icon to explore.exe

I was able to get malwarebytes to run successfully one time. It said it found one infected file (the computer was super clean before this virus). It quarantined the virus, then said I needed to reboot. I rebooted and the virus was still there, windows popped open like kernels of corn, it is frustrating!

The virus seems to be embedded in the windows security suite, and now mbam.exe (aka explorer) wont run at all. I cannot remove windows security suite, nor do anything but stare at constant malware pop ups - the pop ups have the windows kinda shield looking logo, it also loads Mozilla pages for porno.org or viagra.com and tells me that the computer is at risk and infected, then my desktop pops up with windows alert saying I need to activate anti-virus software......

I am not super tech savvy but have been able to maneuver around before. I have read through the forums, how I got this far at least, but still have no success.

When I try to execute anything I am told the file is infected. I tried loading AVG through a usb transfer and also tried combofix (transferred via usb also) from the desktop, none of them will run.

I have looked in the removal forums and cannot find anything related to security suite.

PLEASE HELP!!!

I am at my wits end!

Thank you!
