Malwarebytes problem

Recommended Posts

I downloaded 1.46 to a system that has been swarmed with Malware. I went through the instructions, including running RKill first. The problem is that I can't run these on the computer unless I'm in safe mode. I tried both from the hard drive and from a flash drive. The programs run and Malwarebytes seemed to work, but when I went back in after the restart, it was still infected. Anyone had this problem before and any ideas on how to fix?

One thing to know is that I removed AVG from the system and it is currently without an Anti-Virus program.

Thanks. I'm new to the Forum but have spent time reading it and the amount of knowledge here is great. Thank you for all the time and effort put forth to help people who are suffering problems and don't have the ability or money to get it fixed without the help of the people who contribute here.

Always an excellent first step. Imho - AVG is a disaster waiting to happen.

with additional help from the malwarebytes support paragon (not the type style) - you will be a professional in no time. Just what you wanted huh!
