No log created when using "-terminate" parameter in command line

Recommended Posts

hello !

The title says it all : I get no log created whenever I use the -terminate option, although the documentation does not says this is a limitation.

mbam /scan -terminate

mbam /scan -terminate -log

Neither works...

Thanks !

PJ

Hello pj, ;)

The following quotes comes from the Quality Assurance of Malwarebytes, which may address your issue-

The -log entry is supposed to make sure that the scan creates a log regardless of other settings, however there is currently a known issue with silents scans where no log is created. This will be fixed in the next version, 1.47, of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware but the release date of the next version is yet to be determined.
This is a known issue with the -terminate command. It is being addressed by the developers and should be fixed once version 1.47 is released, however I currently have no projected release date for the new version.

Please feel free to post back if you have further questions.

Thank You :)
