Hello and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Please visit this webpage for instructions for running ComboFix:

  • When the tool is finished, it will produce a report for you.
  • Please post the C:\ComboFix.txt along with a new DDS log so we may continue cleaning the system.

Found the problem. Somehow something changed the DNS settings on my router. I have a Netgear router, and had never changed the default password. They added DNS server addresses, and selected the option to use these DNS servers. Changed the setting to "Get automatically from ISP", and that allowed me to update Malwarebytes to the latest version, which then fixed my other issues.
