Hi

The first problem is that when i turn on my computer and it gets to Welcome center, there is a icon missing...Transfer files and settings...A black box.It started yesterday...

When i log in with my admin user,i can see the icon...Why is it missing...

Second. When i drag windows,it is only showing the frame...I have checked both boxes at system\performace or whatever it is and from properties...

One of them keeps unchecking itself...I think...Mostly it shows only the frame when dragging...Restart won't help...

Third. When i go to Windows Update and it says two updates available...And when i click on the updates to see them,i can't see them. It's blank but it says two updates available...When i restart i can see them.

Or when i turn on my computer i can see them but after a bit i can't

Sorry if this is a wrong forum.

Hi and thanks for your time.

I'm using Windows Vista Home Premium....

If i didn't mention before,i had to reinstall Vista...No problems durning the reinstall...

I got the first "problem" fixed by the way, well, atleast for now.In fact,it "fixed" itself...hahah...

This window draging problem was before i reinstalled(and i hoped it would be fixed...no...) but there was no problem until june i think...The update problem occoured too before the reinstall but not that oftern...

  • 1 month later...

All problems solved!Yes,i was right, the problem with window frame WAS because i used Mobile Partner. So,stop using it if you want to get rid of the problem.Atleast for me it was Mobile partner that was causing the problem.

But not ALL my problems are solved...One occoured day before yesterday (after SP2 install):the calender in vista sidebar is blank!NOT solved so far....
