Hi, I need some assistance, when i connect to my internet usb, i get a message to say "windows has encountered a critical problem and will restart automatically in one minute"

I thought it was a malware or virus issue b ut as per the topic below it was not.

http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?s...mp;#entry304274

I have no issue when i use any other programs when not connected to the internet but once i connect to the internet i get the message and my computer restarts.

Firewall - Avast

I go to delete it with Avast and it says removed but then it keeps coming up everytime

Can you get any later update than what you have - Current is Update 4591 - A quick scan is all that is needed -

Database version: 4427 - 24/08/2010 11:11:57 AM

Even if you can update from Here and cut a CD or use a Flash drive if needed , from another computer -

As I don't read logs here we can still wait for AdvancedSetup to get back -

I will send a reminder if he has missed your logs -

Thanks -

once you reboot, launch Malwarebytes again and update it again...

run another scan, perhaps a full scan and see if the rootkit still gets detected, if it does then you will have to seek help from the experts in the HJT section to get that rootkit taken care of...

Still appearing after removed and then rebooted.

Have started a topic in the forum you syggested
