erreur updating 12002

Recommended Posts

Bonjour Roger.

It would appear that the update process has dropped a connection, or rather, had a "timeout" issue.

You may wait for a bit and then retry MBAM Update later.

You may also, logoff and restart your system to insure you get a fresh start. And try one more time.

If the issue stays the same, tell us if your system has a software firewall and what Antivirus program you use.

And tell us what type of internet service connection you have.

and if this is the first time this has happened?

Hi Maurice, Roger,

I translate Roger's post:

Hi Ipl 001 and Maurice Naggar

Excuse me for my poor French.

When I installed my Orange Livebox (*) from the CD, everything was done automatically so, I've this default connection.

I've only this connection which is displayed

Nor being that good at computing, I didn't try other settings.

I've got an ADSL connection plugged on the phone line.

I think there's a possibility to set up an additional connection but I don't know how to do and don't want to mess things up.

Thanks for your help and for the time you take to resolve my problem.

Have a good evening.

(*) Livebox is the commercial name of the product sold by Orange.

It's a box which provides -as far as the customer subscribes to the corresponding options-: ADSL connection, multichannel TV and phone line (with low price calls to France and many foreign countries).

Orange is not my provider but as far as I know, the Orange architecture is true ADSL: I mean that the line that enters home is a traditional RTC one so that on the same line (and same plug), there's a phone line and ADSL (according to the frequency and given a filter in the plug) and Roger could also use a dial-up connection (or a fax line) whereas for other providers, the line is a numerical one. That's probably why Roger writes "il y a moyen d'installer une connexion suppl
