no internet after trojan removal

Recommended Posts

avg detected trojan horse generic 18.by1a. couldnt remove it. used malwarebytes to remove it. as it was cleaning all infections the dial-up login came up. i use a high speed for internet. after seemingly removing the trojan all looks find except i cant connect to internet. internet provider, and network connections says connection is working. both system mechanic and malwarebytes updated on re-install even though no other program can update and ie doesnt connect. the diagnostic log from ie says it cant connect to http, https or ftp-error 12029. it acts like its in offline mode though its not. again though sys-mechanic and malwarebytes connected during install but cant update from the normal running program. ive hit the end of my ability. anyone with an idea?
