PC Slowness with MBAM and Quickbooks

Hello all,

This is very strange indeed.

I have installed Malwarebytes on 20 computers. All are running Windows XP Pro SP2 with AVG business edition. I have gone into AVG and excluded the files that malwarebytes wants excluded.

The seven PCs that run Quickbooks run extremely slow (the mbamservice spikes up over 60 % of the CPU). Those that do not run Quickbooks run perfectly fine.

I have had the users uncheckmark website blocking, but that does not do anything. As soon as I have the users uncheckmark enable protection then everything works fine.

The quickbooks is installed on the PC but the data files are on a Windows 2003 server.

Not sure what to do next. I do not want to uninstall malwarebytes on these machines.

Is there a fix in quickbooks or do we have to exclude quickbooks?
