Screen Swap

I have a gateway M460E and a 400sd4 and i was wondering if i could either repair the M460e's or should I just SWAP the screens, and is that even possible? Thanks , Bob.

P.S. In and edit I will add a serise of pictures to this.

The chances of these 2 screens matching are very slim.

Go to www.screencountry.com and select the specs for a replacement screen as if you were buying a new display for each system. If both systems return the same part number, you might be in luck.

The m460e does not appear.

The m460e does not appear.

You can take the screen apart. Look for a white rectangular label on the back of the actual LCD, and match that up by part number. If you have difficulty finding a match, they are very helpful over the phone.
