Computer being attacked? Error message??

Recommended Posts

I don't know much about computers but installed Malwarebytes when my computer was attacked a couple of months ago, and it saved my computer.

Now the computer is very slow and often freezes so I ran malwarebytes after updating. The quick scan never seemed to end and I got the message MBAM_ERROR_CHECK_INFECTED (0,9) and something like contact support staff. I couldn't get that off the screen at all. Unlike before there was no malware detected on the scan although it seemed to be going over the same files endlessly (47 mintes quick scan and still running). I turned the computer off from the computer switch as I couldn't get rid of the message or stop the program.

I had the same message the last time I ran the scan.

Any advice about what to do would be very gratefully tried. Many thanks Jevive
