Infected with Malware

I had to have malware removed six moths ago which cost me $60 I installed Malwarebytes then and have had no problem till today when malware grabbed my laptop again even though I am running supposedly one of the best antimalware software out there.

I am using my dads computer and hoping some one will help. I tried running the Malwarebytes but the malware will not let me open it not download something like Threatfire. As a student I hate to pay $60 again and then what guarantees it willnot attack again? THANKS!!!

Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process:

As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have.

  • Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.
  • After posting your new post, make sure under options, you select Track this topic and choose Immediate Email Notification, so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.

Did you have the paid version of Malwarebytes active and running in the background , or did you just run a scan every few days/weeks , and 'hope' you may remove some infections after they are already installed -

Also did you have a good (reasonable) antivirus program active all the time -

If you said yes to both of these then you would not have these problems to start with -

Please excuse me if I am wrong in any of these items above -
