Windows Defense not removed

I was able to use iExplore to stop the Windows Denfense virus, loaded and ran Anti Malware. It did find some file to Quarantine , however the virus is still popping warnings. Running both Anit Malaware again ( and Norton) did not find any additional files. Any suggestions for next steps?????
