Google Redirect Adware Problem

Recommended Posts

I have recently been doing a lot of surveys and I think some of them might have gave me adware or malware I'm not really sure what the difference is. Every time I do a google search when I click on a link it redirects me to a completely different page. It doesn't redirect me when I use yahoo. Anyways here is my log, I couldn't figure out how to produce a log with MBAM so I used IOBIT advance system care. Also I seen there are some programs running that I tried to stop before and I would like help to fully remove or stop them from running but, this can wait till after we remove the malware.

The Avira program seemed to get rid of it. Now may you help me stop some of the other programs? I would like to get my computer running as fast as I can, I use it for multiple purposes but the majority is an online game.

Here are all the programs that I know I do not need to be running so first off lets start with these

O23 - Service: iWinGamesInstaller - iWin Inc. - C:\Program Files\iWin Games\iWinGamesInstaller.exe

O23 - Service: Ad-Aware 2007 Service (aawservice) - Lavasoft - C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007\aawservice.exe

O23 - Service: GameConsoleService - WildTangent, Inc. - C:\Program Files\HP Games\My HP Game Console\GameConsoleService.exe

O23 - Service: GameConsoleService (gpsvc) - WildTangent, Inc. - C:\Program Files\HP Games\My HP Game Console\GameConsoleService.exe

O8 - Extra context menu item: eBay Search - res://C:\Program Files\eBay\eBay Toolbar2\eBayTb.dll/RCSearch.html

O2 - BHO: Ask Toolbar BHO - {F0D4B231-DA4B-4daf-81E4-DFEE4931A4AA} - Ask Toolbar BHO

You can read, how to do this here:

Step 2

I suggest you to uninstall CCleaner and Advanced SystemCare 3 :

http://miekiemoes.blogspot.com/2008/02/reg...weaking_13.html

Step 3

  • Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
  • Go to "Update" tab and select "Check for Updates". If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Go to "Scanner" tab and select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart.(See Extra Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  • Copy&Paste the entire report in your next reply.

Extra Note:

If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts, click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process,if asked to restart the computer, please do so immediatly.
