Hi noknojon,

I can confirm that my computer is clean.

What Malwarebytes detected is false alarm -- 360Safe Security Software's update checker dll files.

See the log below:

What I am asking is that, why Malwarebytes report on the error MBAM_ERROR_ADD_TO_RESULTS(0, 6) whenever Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware detected a malware?

Huh??

Many Chinese users in China acknowledged this product as No.1 in their security product list in China.

They even said they couldn't live without using 360Safe, because 360Safe is strong, and free! Majority users in China uses this software as well!

Check out their website (Chinese): http://360.cn

As for 360Safe's Antivirus (Chinese also): htt[://sd.360.cn

================

Here's the English translation for the official website if you want to view:

http://translate.google.com/translate?u=ht...=en&ie=UTF8

===================

And I don't think computer is totally safe without using antivirus.

To clarify, any time you see warnings such as;

According to http://www.hosts-file.net/ if you access this domain you risk to unwillingly download and install malicious software (virus, trojans, spyware, etc) that may damage your computer.

... on SiteAdvisor - ignore it. I blogged about this a while ago, and have a notice on the hpHosts site concerning these "reviews" on the likes of SA. In short, they took the listings on hpHosts, posted things like the above to the likes of SA, SafeWeb etc - but never bothered checking the sites themselves to see if they actually were still malicious or had since been cleaned (or indeed, were F/P's). You'll also notice they posted warnings along the same lines for sites with the ATS (Ad/Tracking Server) classification (the ONLY sites that will automatically infect you are those with the HJT or EXP classification, most others require user intervention of some description, or in the case of those with the ATS classification, are benign).

360safe.* isn't listed in hpHosts anymore :) (was removed a while ago)
