Feature request: Update from USB

Recommended Posts

A common problem when scanning an infected machine is that antimalware tools can't download the latest updates, making them pretty much useless. I use malwarebytes frequently on machines with no internet connection and I usually get round this by copying the rules.ref database file from my clean pc in C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware onto my flash drive and restoring it on the infected machine. I think it would help a lot of people if as well as internet updates, MBAM gave you the option to copy definitions to a flash drive and restore as well. Let me know what you think...

Thanks MBAM team for making an awesome antimalware tool :D
