I cannot answer that definitively, but have run both in the past simultaneously in real-time without any perceptible slowing of my system or my browsing, in XP Pro/SP3.

That said, I have to wonder about the wisdom or need of running 2 real-time anti-malware programs, particularly these days when most main-stream AVs also include considerable real-time anti-malware capability. I often wonder about the potential for conflicts.

I have chosen to run only one anti-malware program in real-time, alternating between MBAM and WD.

Can't say as I see a clear difference between the two programs, and have no preference for either.

I know Exile360 used to use WD and Mbam paid together in realtime without conflict. I am not sure if he still uses them together though. If he comes across this thread, I'm sure he'll comment if he has anything to add

I use them together without issue on Vista and have used them together in the past on XP and 7 without any problems .

No issues here running Windows Defender (real time) on 3 pc's [XP SP3] with Malwarebytes Pro version

I have seen mbamswissarmy.sys driver conflict before, but it's resolved by adding the exclusions.

For 64 Bit pc's mbamswissarmy.sys is located under

C:\Windows\Sytem32WOW64\Drivers
