MBAM_ERROR_FILE_SCAN means that an error occurred while scanning files. Please add the following files to the process exclusions list in your anti-virus:

• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
  
• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
  
• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
  

You may also want to add the following files to the scan exclusions in your anti-virus:

• C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mbam.sys
  
• C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys
  

If your computer has a 64-bit edition of Windows, you will want to add the following files instead:

• C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
  
• C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe
