Heur.p Virus/Trojan

Recommended Posts

I have been infected with the Heur.p virus/trojan, it would not let me start Malwarebytes or Spybot.

I finally found a way to start both programs, when they run they both find the Heur.p trojan.

Both programs state they will delete it on next boot.

I tried this several times but after each boot it is back.

I also deleted the files manually, same problem on restart.

Using HijackThis it also picked up 3 cases of 2 IP addresses, I deleted the three cases in the registry but on each boot they reappear.

I finally reached the point where I could update Malware but at the completion of the update an error appears.

It would also stop me updating Spybot, however, the last time I tried I succeded in the update.

When looking at web pages for a fix, when I select the page I am diverted elsewhere.

Since the update I tried again, same problem.

I would appreciate some advise of how to delete the trojan.

Maniac,

Thanks for the reply.

I am not sure I read this correctly where it states "Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected".

Does this mean to select All items?

The report would be about 3 pages long and I would not like to loose everything listed.

The virus would not allow me to send this reply, I had to do it on a laptop.

Could you please advise.

maniac,

Thanks for helping.

I have disabled System Restore and in Safe Mode tried to delete 2 Trojans found by BitDefender, they are

E7a3kU.dll

and ernal32.dll

I also tried to delete with BitDefender.

In Hyjack I let it delete 3 017 entries and also did it manually.

On a reboot they all reappear.

Maniac,

Thanks for the reply.

This morning I was looking for the Mother file for the virus, I came across 2 files in C:\Recycler.

Both had the same name made up of lettersw and numbers, one was 0 in size, the other was 2k.

I went into Safe Mode and disabled System Restore then deleted these 2 files, then deleted the 2 files showing as Trojans one in C:\Windows\System32\ernal32.dll and the othe C:\Windows\System32\Spool\Prtprocs\W32x86, this file was made up of letters and numbers.

I then ran Hijack this and deleted the 3, 017 entries.

I emptied the recycle bin and rebooted.

I turned on System Restore after the boot and checked all the above areas, all was showing clear.

The computer is running fast again and no problems with Internet access.

Could you please advise if there is anything else showing in the Hijack report that may give a problem.

Maniac,

I ran HijackThis, selected all entries then selected Fix Checked.

When I rebooted it took out AVG virus checker, I downloaded a fresh copy and installed.

Then rebooted and ran HijackThis again, find file attached.

I then ran MalwareBytes again, find file attached.

What else is required?
