Kildare Posted August 1, 2010 ID:293934 Share Posted August 1, 2010 I got a virus on my computer and I stupidly believed that the bubble which was supposedly from my computer was genuine, and i scanned the computer, but when they were asking me to purchase more software I shut my computer down.Now though I cannot use internet explorer at all. It will not allow me to open any pages and therefore I cannot download anything from malwarebytes, I cannot open the computer in safe mode, i cannot go to system restore. I have tried tapping F8 to get to safe mode but it does not work.When the browser is open it will automatically bring up sites such as viagra.com & porno.org. Can anyone suggest a solution? thanks.
