Norton 360 problems - think have a virus

Recommended Posts

I have Norton 360 and it claimed that there were "6 issues affecting your status" (I always keep on top of them). I selected "Fix" - it looked like it was fixing them but it still said there were "6 issues affecting your status". I noticed that "Auto-Protect" was turned off. I cannot turn it back on by going to "fix". I went to "Tasks and Settings", "Change Advanced Settings" and I noticed "Norton 360 Protection" was not ticked. I ticked it, clicked apply, closed the window opened it up and it was unticked again. Similarly in the same window I went to "Virus and Spyware Protection Settings" and noticed "Turn on Auto-Protect" was unticked. I ticked it, clicked apply, closed the window opened it up and it was unticked again.

I ran SuperAntiSpyware (free edition) and only "adware.tracking.cookies" were found. I ran a full scan of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware (free edition) and nothing infected was found.

What should I do?

Thanks
