Since updating MBAM free version to the latest definitions yesterday (and again manually updating just now) one file is flagged as a trojan.

VirusTotal comes up with nothing.

Attached the MBAM log and the file itself.

I actually just had it happen to me when I attempted to update utorrent.

Registered as Trojan.Pakes. Unfortunate, I have already closed it by the time I got here because I clicked ignore. Sorry I do not have much more.

I had updated to the newest protection definitions as of 9/9/2010.

In my opinion 99.99% of these sites try to embed malicious codes. You could delete it from Ignore List that way further scans would detect. If you think it is legit then upload it to VirusTotal and post back result here

Else:

Update MBAM (current 4591), run a Quick Scan, it will be detected, this time Quarantine it, if asked for a reboot please go ahead for complete removal. Should you have any other question(s), start NEWTOPIC and back at General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum
