Spyware sending email using my email account

Hello all,

I just downloaded malwarebytes. Apparently "I" sent an email to all on my yahoo contact list trying to sell viagra. Ha ha. Well, I paid for and downloaded malwarebytes, did a full scan (which took 2 hours), and nothing came up.

Being new and all to this program...is there anything else I could try without having to buy another program?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

For now, I've changed my email password, and deleted all my contacts, to hopefully ensure this would not happen again.

If you're a paid user, you can contact the helpdesk for cleanup assistance (it's likely you're infected, or have had a keylogger that stole your Yahoo credentials).

If this is only happening to your web account, YaHoo!, it may be a hacked account too, contact YaHoo! about it.

No scanner can detect or clean a hacked account.
