My quick scan for Malewarebytes doesn't find any infections:

When I try to do a full scan, it finds two infections, and then proceeds to freeze later on in the scan when it gets to a file named something like C:\windows\winssxs\x86_microsoft_windows_naturallanguage6_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16386_none

_9ba4123e2dd0c459. I've already checked the disk, uninstalled/reinstalled, ran the mbam-clean.exe, and tried the scans in normal mode and safe mode probably around 5 times each with it freezing every time.

I know I'm not supposed to do this until 48 hours, but I'm leaving on vacation sometime tomorrow. This was on the 3rd page with no replies yet, so realistically nobody was going to reply within the 48 hours anyways. Sorry for the bump, just trying to see if anybody can help :)

Hi and welcome to Malwarebytes.

Keep in mind we answer older posts first...

This may be a conflict issue between Malwarebytes and Symantec. To troubleshoot, you can try uninstalling Symantec Antivirus from Add or Remove Programs, running their removal tool, and restarting your computer. Then update MBAM, run a Full Scan, and see if the freezing persists.

I uninstalled Symantec completely and used the Removal tool and tried doing a full scan in Malewarebytes (after updating) again, and it froze around the same time as usual. My computer also freezes sometimes even if I'm not scanning. I also uninstalled Avira before the scan. Malewarebytes had two infections, but my computer always freezes before the scan completes.
