Problems removing Generic.Bot.H and Worm.Palevo infection

Recommended Posts

Dear reader,

Could please be so kind to support me in removing some malware infections from my computer.

While scanning my computer with MBAM, the program finds some infections: Worm Palevo, Malware.Trace.

After having quarantined and delected the infections succesfully, the program requests to restart the computer.

After restart the computer and again executing MBAM, the same infections are still there.

What I notice is that (perhaps due to the infections) my firewall is turned of and access to the internet is being used (slowing down the normal use of internet).

Another issue I currently have with my computer (perhaps also related to this infection) is that I can not use the user account of Windows 7 of my wife; if I try to log on Windows 7 immediately starts the log off procedure and I return to screen where I can choose on which account I would like to log on.

Attached to this item you ll find the log files of the programs. Only issue I had while running the GMER Rootkit Scanner that the program directly came with an errror stating that C:\Windows\system32\config\system: The system can not find the required file (and in Dutch).

If you could be so kind to support me in removing the infections (and even helping me solve the issues I have with my computer) that would be great.

Best regards,

Arnoud Timmermans
