Hello and :)

If I understand correctly, you are getting messages from Malwarebytes saying it is blocking IP 222.186.13.212. If this is the case, you may still have malware or a rootkit on your computer, if that is the case then see below.....

Please read the following so that you can begin the cleaning process:

As we don't deal with malware removal in the General Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Forum, you need to start a topic in the Malware Removal forum so a qualified helper can help you fix any malware related problems/infections you may have.

  • Please read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.
  • After posting your new post, make sure under options, you select Track this topic and choose Immediate Email Notification, so that you're alerted when someone has replied to your post.
  • One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.
  • Please refrain from making any further changes to your computer (Install/Uninstall programs, use special fix tools, delete files, edit the registry, etc...) unless advised by a malware removal helper. Doing so can result in system changes which may hinder the attempts by a helper to clean your machine.

NOTE: Please DO NOT post back to (bump) your topic within the first 48 hours.

Replying to your own posts changes the post count and helpers are looking for topics with zero replies. If you reply to your own post helpers may think that you're already being helped and thus overlook your post.

    • If there is no reply from any experts after 48 hours, you can reply to the topic, asking for help again.
      Or
    • You may send a Private Message to a Moderator asking for assistance.

Alternatively, as a paying customer, you can contact the help desk at support@malwarebytes.org or here.

Please be patient, someone will assist you as soon as it is possible.

PS: Please use the "ADDREPLY" t_reply.gif button instead of other ones when you start replying. :)

Hi friend. Your forum is new to me. I can not give you all the details, but I was helping to expose IObit for coping software. I was helping a very important perdon in the computer world. Now China is tring to acess my PC and Malwarebytes is stoping them, and I wanted to tell some one hear, and ask what I should do.This is the second or third time trying to acess my PC. I'm not a real computer learned but I want to report this to some one here on the forum. Malwarebytes blocks the adress and gives me a warninf they are trying to acess my PC. It happens at different times. Please tell me what more I should do. I want to help any way I can, but your forum is new to me.

  • Root Admin

The only potential issue is if it's blocking outgoing or incoming. You really should have someone assist you to ensure that a root kit that maybe we don't currently detect is not on your system. You can also install the program WireShark and review your logs and see if your computer is only being probed or if it's responding and take action as needed.

If it's just being probed there isn't too much you can do about it except to install a good firewall that blocks both incoming and outgoing traffic and ensure you have it set to block both.

Someone will work with you one on one to assist you in that forum, but not in this forum as it's not for this. - Thank you.

Please print out, read and follow the directions here, skipping any steps you are unable to complete. Then post a NEW topic here.

One of the expert helpers there will give you one-on-one assistance when one becomes available.

After posting your new post make sure under options that you select Track this topic and choose one of the Email options so that you're alerted when someon has replied to your post.

I want to thank Malwarebytes for protecting me from a possible probing. I have stated I'm not computer literate.IObit hates me and I believe they are trying toget into my PC for some reason. I have programs that protect me. I have GMER, Malwarebytes,Superantispyware, and Avira . They all show 0. I'm just braging on Malwarebytes for not allowing a China based company to get in my PC. I have every thing backed up many times. They can not hurt me.They can at their best force me to reinsatall my OS. Thank you Malwarebytes. You are the best my friend.
