Guest marie3 Posted July 20, 2010 ID:287339 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Key.exe is being flagged. Is this a false positive? A full scan indicates Trojan.Agent.CK. However, a context menu scan (right click) indiates that the file is clean. Why this inconsitency? Thank you. Here is the log file Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware 1.46www.malwarebytes.orgDatabase version: 4329Windows 5.1.2600 Service Pack 3Internet Explorer 7.0.5730.117/20/2010 16:21:21mbam-log-2010-07-20 (16-21-21).txtScan type: Full scan (C:\|)Objects scanned: 204997Time elapsed: 59 minute(s), 8 second(s)Memory Processes Infected: 0Memory Modules Infected: 0Registry Keys Infected: 0Registry Values Infected: 0Registry Data Items Infected: 0Folders Infected: 0Files Infected: 1Memory Processes Infected:(No malicious items detected)Memory Modules Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Keys Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Values Infected:(No malicious items detected)Registry Data Items Infected:(No malicious items detected)Folders Infected:(No malicious items detected)Files Infected:C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\key.exe (Trojan.Agent.CK) -> No action taken. Guest marie3 Posted July 20, 2010 ID:287387 Share Posted July 20, 2010 Sorry, I don't understand what you mean that there is no issue. In your log I see "Files Infected: C:\Documents and Settings\Bruce\Desktop\collected\key.exe (Trojan.Agent.CK) -> No action taken."That is the same thing I get in my log on this file and the program flags this as an infected file. However, when I do a context menu scan (right click),i it says that the file is clean. So this is not consistent. Is the file infected or clean and why do these scans give contradictory results? Thank you.
