Malwarebytes is stuck and won't keep scanning!!

So I did one scan and malwarebytes found several infected files which I removed. When I went and tried a second scan, it goes fine for 15 minutes or so, then gets stuck here: hkey_users\s-1-5-18\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer

and won't continue the scan. It says it's still scanning but has been stuck on this file for 15 minutes. I tried re-running the scan several times.

How can I fix this?

Please run the following.

Download

DDS

and save it to your desktop

http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/dds.scr

Disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.

Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.

Then double click

dds.scr

to run the tool.

When done, the

DDS.txt

will open.

Click Yes at the next prompt for Optional Scan.

When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:

1. DDS.txt
   
   
2. Attach.txt
   
   

• Save both reports to your desktop
